About the Single Drawer Walnut Desk - SAMPLE

This solid Walnut desk has no flaws. It was built as a prototype for a new single-drawer style, rather than our standard two-drawer design.

The drawer is built from solid Hard Maple with a solid hardwood front and hung on a soft-close under-mount premium metal slide. (We left a beer can in the photos for scale, since it's tough to judge size from a picture alone.)

Finished with multiple coats of clear Tung oil for a VOC-free satin sheen.

The Krovel Furniture Co. woodshop was born from a desire to create simple, beautiful, and affordable furniture. We strive to select the finest materials and we mill, fabricate, and finish each piece in-house.

We hand-select the finest rough-sawn lumber (harvested and rough-milled in the U.S.) and we mill, construct, and hand-finish one piece at a time in our Maine shop–nothing is outsourced.
