About the Maple Console Table - UNFINISHED

This solid Maple floating table was ordered unfinished and we accidentally applied a coat of tung oil.  We sanded the outside back to raw Maple but the inside proved too difficult so it's found a home here as a heavily discounted "second".   There is a discoloration in the wood grain on the top (see images)

You could add a coat of oil or paint the exterior.  Even brush on a water based top-coat to keep the white color.

This piece has a matching partner, sold separately here on the "seconds & Samples" page if you'd like 2.

Sold "as-is"

Table has a solid back that conceals an integrated mounting cleat.  All necessary hardware and instructions included.

Shipping is included in the price for all lower 48 states only.

The Krovel Furniture Co. woodshop was born from a desire to create simple, beautiful, and affordable furniture. We strive to select the finest materials and we mill, fabricate, and finish each piece in-house.

Hand-Selected, Hand-Finished

We hand-select the finest rough-sawn lumber (harvested and rough-milled in the U.S.) and we mill, construct, and hand-finish one piece at a time in our Maine shop–nothing is outsourced.

Clean Lines, Simple Joinery

Our passion is working with wood, but just as important is simplicity of design. Clean lines and well-proportioned shapes utilizing simple joinery techniques help to keep our products accessible and affordable. We value good design, quality craftsmanship, and durable, beautiful materials.
